Very quick summary is that SOPA act in US will basically affect ALL INTERNET USERS by threatening online freedom of speech, possibly hit most websites that host user content, pose threat to web based businesses, threaten free and open source software (such as WordPress, Firefox, Filezilla, etc.), and a lot more!
